In the WoT forums I noticed some interesting link about winning ratios of players. The statistics are pretty old, and original page is in russian, but thank god for Google Translate. It seems that in the thread there are not only winning percentages of certain tanks, but player counts as well and statistics about vehicle drivers who have winning percentage over 55%. This indeed is interesting.
If we say that players with overall win% over 55% are good players, we get to conlusion about T9 mediums as follow:
- T-54 had about 7.4% good players among all T-54 players
- Pershing had about 17.5% good players among all Pershing players
- Panther2 had about 13.8% good players among all Panther2 players
So indeed it seems that T-54 has not so much good players among then when compared to other T9 mediums. However, when we look winning stats and amount of good players among them:
T-54 is driven by clearly worst players (overall average), but however they have winning percent almost highest of T9 mediums Pershing being #1 but T-54 coming close. Panther2 drivers are overall better than T-54 drivers, but win% of P2 is clearly below other two. Same applies to Jagdtiger and GW Tiger.
Please note: Statistics are old, and intepreted thru Google Translate, so there might be some mistakes, even fundamental ones. And tanks are being adjusted as we speak, since 0.6.4 is going to rebalance tanks (Pershing getting more accuracy on the move and Panther2 getting its mantlet fixes and a decent stock gun).
